Let’s be honest: networking in the kink community can be awkward. So when I heard about Goddess Brunch. A Chicago event created specifically for newer Dom/mes/x to network, learn, and get hands-on experience in a supportive environment. I was instantly intrigued. Hosted by the incredible Mistress Marley on April 27th, 2024, it seemed to offer a solution to a problem I didn’t even know how to name. Here’s what I discovered.
As I walked in, the warm lights and elegant table settings made me feel like I had stepped into a different world. The atmosphere was enchanting, with a mix of anticipation and excitement in the air. Attending a brunch event at night felt surreal, adding an aura of mystery and glamour to the occasion.
I had gotten the Goddess 3 Tier, which had: a goodie bag( Domme Start-Up Kit: Mini flogger, mouth gag, soft cuffs, eye mask,…, access to the class food, entry for the event, and access to a one-on-one mentoring with Mistress Marley)
When it was time for the Demos, she helped set up the basics for those who didn’t know about BDSM. As someone who is experienced in the industry, it was great to listen to the fundamentals again because I was still shocked at how many people who came were new to the scene.
I was excited knowing this was a perfect opportunity to meet other Dommes in the scene. Throughout the event, I had the chance to engage in conversations with inspiring individuals whose diverse backgrounds and experiences enriched my understanding of the community. These interactions led to meaningful connections and provided a sense of unity and empowerment.
Leaving the Goddess Brunch, I felt empowered and inspired, with a renewed sense of belonging in the community. The event had a profound impact on my personal growth and provided opportunities to forge new connections. As I eagerly look forward to future events, I am reminded of the invaluable experiences and the sense of camaraderie that Goddess Brunch has to offer.
In conclusion, my experience at Goddess Brunch was truly unforgettable, and I can’t wait for the next event..
